In the last week of 2019, I dreamt I was swiftly running down the corridor of an international airport because I was late for my flight. The double door that led to my departing terminal was closed for some reason but would open if you had the right password. An African-American woman in charge of the door provided me with the password, a word I never heard before. It was the word, “Mafate.” I knew in the dream that this word was connected to Africa, but had no more understanding than that. Standing now at the closed door, I spoke to it using the password. I said, “MAFATE!” Instantly, the double door opened and I entered the terminal without incident.
I asked around and then googled the word “Mafate” to try and find the meaning. According to Wikipedia, the Cirque de Mafate is a caldera on Réunion Island and formed from the collapse of the large shield volcano. It is very secluded and originally inhabited by a group of maroon slaves who had escaped their masters. The Mafate is accessible only by foot or by helicopter as there are no drivable roads going in or out. Finally, the name “Mafate” comes from the Malagasy word “Mahafaty”, which means lethal, an allusion to the difficulty for accessing the Cirque.[1]
There also happens to be a specialized Hoka brand running shoe made specifically for the 100-mile race in Africa with the same name, Mafate. At that, I realized from the dream that my race in the Lord was being upgraded. I would also need to have extreme endurance to finish. As an act of faith, I then located and purchased a pair of these specialized trail running shoes as a sign of my agreement with the instruction from the dream. By the way, I instantly added a mile to my run. Having the right shoes makes a huge difference.
My life as a prophet is highly parabolic. I often live out these prophetic words before I am released to communicate them to you. I was being prepared for this word at the end of December, a word instructing me, and now you, to make ready for an endurance run. It’s a race we are required to finish and to finish well. We can’t stop in the middle.
I Dreamt About a Specific URL
As I’m still pondering, processing, and literally running out the prophetic word about the Mafate, I also had a simple set of dreams all in one night. In each of the dreams, I kept encountering a specific URL. The URL was www.sheeple.com. I woke up knowing it was significant and initially thought this might be a real website. I googled and looked around the web, but couldn’t locate this URL or anything close. I kept looking into it throughout the day, but couldn’t find anything that gave an explanation. By the end of the day, I was frustrated because the obvious meaning seemed veiled to me. I kept asking myself, “What is a sheeple?” And, “Why can’t I figure this word/URL out?” I finally looked up the definition of sheeple, something I should have done at the onset. One online dictionary defined sheeple as “people compared to sheep in being docile, foolish, or easily led.” Another described it as “a combination of the words ‘sheep’ and ‘people’ meaning that the person or persons are acting as a group or to only behave based on what is trending.” This word is derogatory. It’s not a compliment.
Again, I am parabolic. Sheeple, in my opinion, was an obvious word with an obvious definition. I simply couldn’t see it for what it was for an entire day. Once I finally woke up to its definition, I knew my experience with the word was prophetic. You see, many of us have been acting like sheeple. We’ve been naïve, ignorant, and easily led by what is trending in an ungodly internet news media environment and on troll-infested social media platforms.
With that, I prophesy to all the “sheeple.” In the name of Jesus, I command the sheeple to “Wake up!”
I’m fascinated with the timing of this because the controversial video and censorship of Dr. Stella Immanuel occurred just a week after this dream. I am thankful to both Jesus and Dr. Stella for her boldness! This has caused an awakening to the blatant censoring in social media. The sheeple is coming awake now.
He Told Me What to do This Fall
Pastor Dana from Kentucky released a series of dreams that brought attention and perhaps fear to this coming Fall season. As a prophet and intercessor who often receives prophetic information through dreams, I’ve decided through personal experience to not release these kinds of dreams to the masses but to keep them with seasoned, highly effective intercessors instead. I would need to have tons of confirmation before I ever released any dreams of this nature to the public. At the same time, I don’t think we had a grip on the explosive nature of social media and how it has equalized the voices, thus giving a platform to many who would have normally gone unheard. I believe we are still learning how to harness the voice of social media and right or wrong, we should ultimately learn from what took place with Pastor Dana. Since his dreams have widely circulated, we now have to decide what to do with them.
Regardless, I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit with clarity about how I was to position my heart for this coming Fall (Sept. – November). He told me to have FAITH in the FALL and you won’t FAIL in the FALL. I believe that’s good news! It doesn’t mean we won’t have some very real challenges, but we have a clear remedy for whatever comes our way. My emotions went into genuine excitement when I heard this. Why? Because I do have faith! This Fall is going to be a GREAT season… of faith! We are being positioned to overcome something.
The Second Wind
While traveling and ministering in Savannah, Georgia, the Holy Spirit then breathed a word over me during my time of prayer in the early morning hours. His voice came as a breath and with clarity. He said, “THE SECOND WIND.” As a runner, I knew what that meant as I’ve experienced that second wind in the natural. It’s when you’ve been running hard and feel like you’ve run out of energy and breath and want to stop. Then you get that second wind, which is a sudden burst of fresh energy that comes out of nowhere. Now equipped with fresh and renewed strength, you then pick up your pace and finish your course instead of quitting in the middle. This is what the Holy Spirit is doing. He is breathing THE SECOND WIND upon us. We’ve been weary from all the chaos with COVID, riots, exposures, politics, strife, and more. But He’s releasing THE SECOND WIND and quickening us for a powerful finish. In the name of Jesus, RECEIVE YOUR SECOND WIND.
